The pandemic has had a major impact on Pennsylvania's economy. This virtual assembly will explore job training needs in rural communities, and how job training can be an investment in an equitable recovery.
Speakers include Hannah Smith-Brubaker (Pasa Sustainable Agriculture); Lucyann Vierling (Wayne Pike Workforce Alliance); Shannon Munro (Penn College of Technology); and Keith Wardrip (Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia).
This assembly is cohosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia's Community Development and Regional Outreach Department, Penn State's Center for Economic and Community Development, and the Center for Rural Pennsylvania.
Attendance is limited. Registration closes at 5 p.m. on September 21.
