Northeast Pasture Consortium Virtual Conference

Wednesday, March 8, 2023, 9:00 am until 5:00 pm
Online

The Northeast Pasture Consortium (NEPC) is an alliance of graziers, extension, industry, agency, and research partners dedicated to improving pasture management in the northeastern United States. Initiated in 1996, the NEPC has focused its efforts on hosting an annual meeting to connect public (university, government) partners with private (farm, agricultural business) partners to share timely research on relevant topics, network across the region, inform policy, and set regional research priorities for the future. The Consortium region stretches from Maine to West Virginia.

In 2023, the NEPC will be holding its Annual Meeting on March 8 in an online format to allow a greater number of participants to attend and learn from our speakers, as well as give feedback on the region’s priority grazing issues. This year’s agenda will include presentations and discussion on marketing and profitability through individual sessions on production to meet specific markets; deep dives into market trends across meat, dairy and fiber sectors; practical application of regenerative marketing, and a lively and detailed session on profitability. We will conclude the day with a real-time priority-setting session to help guide future USDA and University research.
