The NOFA-VT Winter Conference provides a valuable opportunity for farmers, gardeners, land stewards, educators, students, policy-makers, and other food system activists to share ideas, resources, and skills. This year’s theme is Growing Together. From corporate consolidation to land access barriers, it’s easy to feel like “the powers that be” are constantly fighting against a localized, just, ecological food system. But, as eons of societal change show us, we all have the power to create better conditions when we come together; if one person alone is a single thread, a community of people sharing knowledge, humanity, and inspiration is the thread woven together into a strong, vibrant social fabric.
The conference will take place in person at the University of Vermont in Burlington. On Saturday, February 15, enjoy the main conference. On Sunday, February 16, we will deep-dive into singular topics during all-day intensive workshops. Attend either day, or both! For more information and to register, click here.click here.
