Grain Market Update, March 2010

Added March 9, 2010

Corn Price Update
February 2010
Upper Midwest (Des Moines, IA)
2/24/10

Organic grain and feedstuff prices are slightly lower with light demand and offerings, while feed grade soybeans traded mostly steady with similar demand. Soybean splits were reported $15-$16 per bushel, and barley trade was very slow. A strong interest in grain trade was noted. Moisture and low test weights continue to have the greatest impact on the Upper Midwest grain markets.

All prices FOB price per bushel except where stated (trucking cost needs to be added)
